case sensitive

cummingsare you an upper or lower case person?  most people have been cured of considering what is grammatically correct.  email has put a nail in this coffin.  burdened about correct syntax no more, we have been freed to write as we please.  i am one of prime abusers.  i can barely remember the rule about the use a semi-colon vs. a colon. in part, we have e.e. cummings to thank.  the last time i read or thought about e.e. cummings was in high school.  cummings poems were required reading.  sadly, none of his poems have stayed with me.

poet was a friend of her fathers, john cheever.  for susan, cummings was an influential alley in her battle change prep schools.  it was cheever, who brought up the idea of characterizing people as lower or upper case.

have you ever thought about describing yourself or another person as upper or lower case?
