PHYLLIS ODESSEY

the end of the line

The High Line is everybody’s favorite park.  It’s  transformed the neighborhood below it to the place to be seen. Yes, it has great plantings, great hardscape, great views, great people watching, but most of all you are in the city and above it at the same time.  No matter how crowded, when walking The High Line, you feel removed from the street. The final section opened last week.  It marks the completion of a multi-year project…the finale at the end of the symphony; a continuation full of surprises.  Walk it and See!
