margeaux-walterI called it a hologram.  The woman behind the desk at Miyako Yoshinaga Gallery quickly corrected me.  “It’s 3-D lenticulars”.

Lenticular printing is a technology in which lenticular lenses are used to produce printed images with an illusion of depth, or the ability to change or move as the image is viewed from different angles.” –  Wikipedia  The artist is Margeaux Walter.  This might seem like a gimmick.  But I was captivated by the images and wanted to share them.

At the same gallery, was work by AnhThuy Nguyen.  100 stones in which printed images have transferred to the stones.  The result fragmented photographs of female body parts.
